We extend our deep sympathy to Brenda and Mike and their families while our hearts are also very saddened by Bill's passing. We are encouraged looking forward by the assurance that Bill has joined his beloved Betty for eternity. May each one know God's presence and blessings at this very difficult time of parting and in the days and weeks ahead.
Our love to all of you.
Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Lila

We were so saddened to learn of your father's passing. Both of your parents were friends of ours for many years, and we shared much in common with Bill -- Church and town commission interests. He always had a funny story or joke to tell us, and we knew that each time we saw him he would make us laugh.

A previous commitment prevented us from saying our final goodbyes to him, but please know we were thinking of all of you. He will always hold a special place in our hearts. Our deepest sympathy goes out to you

I had the honor and privilege to with and for Bill as a Southern States Petroleum manager.  He had the ability to balance both professional responsibilities with a down home friendship. I knew I could call on Bill whenever I needed his advice and to draw upon his experiences.  And he played a mean game of golf.

I worked with Bill for many years at Southern States where we were both Petroleum supervisors and later in the Baltimore regional office. I considered him oneness f the hardest working and most dedicated person I worked with. He okayed hard and worked hard.
Bill was very proud of his family and talked often about Betty and his two children.
I will miss my friend. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
