My heart goes out to you Amelia, Jack & Sue & the rest of the Burdette family for this tragic loss of Paul. He was such a good kindhearted guy. All the years of him & Pete hanging out & helping Roger out on the farm will never be forgotten. I had just seen Paul at a miniature horse sale in thurmont last year where he introduced me to his new wife Amelia. Glad I had a long talk with him.  Lorene

Dear Amelia,
I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing.  I could see the loving companionship you and Paul shared when I saw you together at family gatherings and when I visited your home with his grandmother Margaret.  It was obvious to me each of you had found your soul mate.  I recall fond memories of hunting squirrels, rabbits, geese and deer with Paul on his grandfather Roger’s farm when he was a boy.  He always had the outdoorsman spirit and he was so happy to have found someone to share that spirit with.
Sometimes life takes a tragic turn that nobody anticipates or understands.  Have faith that God has a plan.  I pray that Paul is peacefully resting in heaven and that your heart quickly heals with God’s help.
Uncle Tom

From preschool to highschool, practically every memory I have of Paul is hilarious. Growing up, he could always bring laughter to the grayest of days.  Always a joy to be around. Burdette family, I pray those sweet and funny memories help to carry you through this difficult time. Sending much love and our deepest condolences from the Beckwith family.

I was terribly sorry to hear of Paul's passing. He was a wonderful friend and a great guy to grow up with. I have many heartfelt memories of working on the farm, riding dirt bikes, playing video games, and many other great pastimes.

Paul was a fun and kind soul, and I thank his parents and his family for bringing him into this world and letting the rest of us spend some time with him on his journey.

May he Rest in Peace and may God assuage the bereavement of his family.
