|Elmer will be so missed by us for his outstanding good company and generous spirit. Always willing to help and never afraid to get dirty as what often happens with real working people not paper pushers. We were so fortunate to share many hours of great conversations and fun together. I hope he is back with all the ones he missed who left before him. We will always treasure in our hearts our great times spent with Elmer and never had enough of them as he was welcome anywhere we were no matter what the situation you always knew if you needed help all you had to do was ask and he would be right there with doing the dirty work|

|To Elmer's family,
My deepest sympathies to your family at this most difficult time. Since I no longer live in Myersville, I have lost track of whats going on.
I will miss Elmer as will so many more individuals. He was one who loved life, loved his family, and loved his country. The conversations we use to have while sitting on the bench at the Exxon Station in Myersville, shew. If you needed assistance with anything he stood ready to help. Now that you have entered the kingdom of God in Heaven, may he wrap his loving arms around you and keep you safe until we meet again.
