An Old Irish Blessing

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

An Irish Prayer for the Ugly Irishman - You will be missed

Sending my love and heartfelt sympathies to you all.  Bran was a lovely man - always quick with a joke and a smile.  He made everyone he met feel like the most important person in the world.  He will be missed!

Hugs to you Carolyn and the entire Thompson family.

One of my fondest memories of Bran involves a trip that my husband, Dan, and I took with Mike and Mary Lee.  We were scouting a European ski trip for the Boy Scouts and while Bran wasn't even there with us, I cannot think of that trip without thinking of him.  To me that sums him up.  He was a larger than life personality and I know his numerous contributions to so many organizations have not gone unappreciated.  He will definitely be missed.
My sincerest simpathies to the family and Carolyn in particular.

Bran was one of the greatest men God put on earth!  He was tremendous role model and mentor for many young men in Middletown.  Sometimes the message he delivered was indirect...other times it was right between the eyes, regardless you knew he cared.  I'll cherish your wisdow and laughter forever my friend!  Godspeed!

So sorry to read of Bran's passing.  Bran hired me to work in his department at FDA around 1982.  He was a very special person and mentor and I have never forgotten him over the years.  "May the good earth be soft under you when you rest upon it, and may it rest easy over you when, at the last, you lay under it, and may it rest so lightly over you that your soul may be out from under it quickly, and up, and off, and be on its way to God." (Irish Prayer)

Bran's passion for helping deployed service members and their families is what we remember most about him.  May God gather Bran to himself, and may He bring consolation to Carolyn and all the family.

I will always hold my pair of green suspenders near and dear to my heart.  Bran was a friend and collegue for 33 years.  And will be forever!  Bran,  we already miss you.  We were running a business fair yesterday in Frederick, MD.. Most people stopped by to talk about Bran when they saw our Dale Carnegie banner.  Old classmemebers,  Rotary friends, friends of the Family etc...  what a great day we had talking about Bran.

People pass on, but their memory lives on in our hearts.  Bran was a great person. He always had a smile for everyone. And an Irish joke or two. We at the Elks will miss him.
