My heart goes out to you Amelia, Jack & Sue & the rest of the Burdette family for this tragic loss of Paul. He was such a good kindhearted guy. All the years of him & Pete hanging out & helping Roger out on the farm will never be forgotten. I had just seen Paul at a miniature horse sale in thurmont last year where he introduced me to his new wife Amelia. Glad I had a long talk with him. Lorene

Dear Amelia,
I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I could see the loving companionship you and Paul shared when I saw you together at family gatherings and when I visited your home with his grandmother Margaret. It was obvious to me each of you had found your soul mate. I recall fond memories of hunting squirrels, rabbits, geese and deer with Paul on his grandfather Roger’s farm when he was a boy. He always had the outdoorsman spirit and he was so happy to have found someone to share that spirit with.
Sometimes life takes a tragic turn that nobody anticipates or understands. Have faith that God has a plan. I pray that Paul is peacefully resting in heaven and that your heart quickly heals with God’s help.
