Esther "Lorraine" Langdon, 86, Myersville, died Friday March 22, 2019 at Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro. She was the wife of John Nelson Langdon , they were married for sixty-six years.
  
Born in Middletown on September 26, 1932 she was a daughter of the late Grayson Olen and Oneida Mae Toms Smith.
  
She grew up on the family farm in Middletown, enjoyed gardening, bird watching and feeding the squirrel. She was a member of the Myersville Church of the Brethren and retired from the Frederick County School Board.
  
Surviving, besides her husband are three children Randy Langdon, Robin (David) Ward, Regina (Jim) Umberger, two grandchildren Jenna and John Umberger, a daughter-in- law Sandy Langdon, siblings Phyllis Fogle and Kenneth Smith and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Rodney Langdon and a brother Glenn Smith.
  
The family will receive friends on Wednesday March 27 from 4 to 7 PM at the Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be held 1 PM on Thursday March 28 from the funeral home. Rev. Tom Fralin will officiate. Interment will be made in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Myersville.
  
Memorial contributions may be made to the Myersville Church of the Brethren, 201 Main St., Myersville, MD 21773.
