Keith Richard Harsh, 95, Myersville, died Tuesday March 19 , 2019 at Martinsburg Veteran's Administration Center. He was the husband of Dorothy Ann Vlodek Harsh.
  
Born in Eglon, WV on March 1, 1924, he was a son of the late Walter W. and Nellie M Kitzmiller Harsh. Mr. Harsh was a retired employee with ESSROC Cement Plant in Buckeystown. He was a veteran of W W II having served with the US Navy , a member of American Legion Post , VFW in Frederick and the Burkittsville Ruritan.
  
Surviving, besides his wife, are step-children Tim Elsey and companion Dawn of Hancock and Elizabeth Schroyer and husband Robert of Smithsburg, grandchildren, Mike Crigger, Melissa Crigger, Jeff Flannary, step-grandchildren Justin Elsey, Alicia Elsey, Melissa Lewis and husband Andy, Jessica Brown and husband Andrew, great-granddaughter Kayla Criggerr, Hayley Crigger, Chloe Crigger and one sister Ellen Zimmerman. He was predeceased by his two daughters Carol Crigger and Dawn Adams and siblings Blanche Snyder and Bobby Harsh.
  
Funeral services will be held 1 PM on Monday March 25 from the Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Rev. Robert Kleir will officiate. Interment will be made in the Union Cemetery, Burkittsville.
  
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Frederick Co., POB 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.

He was a wonderful man. I always looked forward to him visiting us at grandma's (Aunt Viola's)

My deepest sympathy for a great friend. Keith will long be remembered for his generosity, kindness, his helping hands and yes, his grumpiness too. He was someone you could always count on. Fly high with the Angels Keith, you have earned your rest.
