Albert Clark Reid, Jr. , 93, of Frederick, Maryland died peacefully on Saturday August 18, 2018 surrounded by his family.
   Born May 5, 1925 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Albert C. and Emma (VonEiff) Reid. Clark is survived by his wife Regina Reid to whom he was married to for 63 years. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his two daughters, Virginia R. Edmonston (Bertram III) and June Reid Kramp, three grandchildren Jennifer Clingerman(Richard), Bertram Edmonston IV(Jennifer), AJ Edmonston(Lauren), seven great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and his sister Joan Brown. He was predeceased by great grandson Colton Clingerman and son in law Joseph Kramp.
   Clark attended the William Baer School in Baltimore and the Maryland Institute of Art. He was employed at S. Kirk & Son as a hand engraver. Some of his engravings are in the White House. He also engraved a sterling dresser set for Jackie Kennedy for the USS John F Kennedy Battleship. Later Clark worked for his daughter at Gold Thumb Jewelry. He loved antiques and painting still life pictures. One of his last engraving projects was engraving a sterling silver cannon punch bowl on display at Ft McHenry. He loved spending time at the family cottage in Fenwick Island, DE. He always took the grandchildren swimming out in the ocean.
   A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 131 W. Second Street, Frederick, MD 21701 at 11am.
   In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Colton Clingerman Memorial Scholarship Fund, 312 East Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701,
