Naomi Mae Kinna Nikirk, 88 of Hagerstown, formerly of Middletown, passed away in the early morning hours of September 3, 2016 at Greenfield Senior Living in Hagerstown.

Naomi lived most of her life in Middletown, Maryland where she was born February 1, 1928 to Elsie Shafer Kinna and Roy Elmer Kinna, Sr. She graduated from Middletown High School in 1945. She became the wife of Ohla C. Nikirk, Jr. to whom she was married for 61 years. She moved to Hagerstown in 2001. Naomi enjoyed keeping her home immaculate and giving her time to the Christ Reformed Church in Middletown where she was a life-long member.
  
She is survived by her only child Stephen and wife Gwen of Boonsboro, her grandchildren Stephen, Jr. (Stacey A.) also of Boonsboro, and Stacey R. Nikirk of Hagerstown, precious great-grandchildren Ryan, Casey, Zach, Emma, and Noah. Step great-grandchildren Logan and Bailey. Naomi also loved her great grand dogs Mollie and Sadie.
  
Naomi will follow to heaven her husband, mother Elsie, father Roy, step-father Clarence Wise, brothers Roy, Jr., and Donald, sisters Evelyn Nicodemus and Marie Jennings.
  
A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Friday September 9 in Christ Reformed Cemetery at 12 S. Church Street in Middletown. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, Box 333, Middletown, MD 21769. The family appreciated the staffs of Homewood of Williamsport, Greenfield Senior Living and Hospice of Hagerstown for their dedication.
