My condolences to and prayers for the family. It was my pleasure to know and work with Doris for many years at Fairchild and Orbital. We were always involved with a proposal effort requiring long hours, and Doris had
a smile on her face and a can-do attitude no matter the hour. After retirement we often talked of a reunion and I believe it will now be held in a higher place. Rest in peace, Doris, and I hope Jim Walker has a desk and typewriter waiting.

Thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Doris. I will always remember spending time at her house growing up, she always treated me like one of her own kids, and was always so good and kind to me, I will never forget her. Heaven has a new angel.
Love,
Cathy

I had the honor and privilege to work with Doris at Fairchild and Orbital until her retirement. In spite of the hectic nature of the space business, Doris was always calm and pleasant, knowing that everything would be fine in the long run. Let's celebrate Doris' life, and all the people she positively touched over the years.

Well done, good and faithful servant! (Matthew 25:21)

May deepest sympathy of Doris passing.
I met Doris when she was on jury duty and then always saw her working for the election in Middletown.
She was a great person always with a smile.
May God be with you during this difficult time.
