Mary Clare Leasure, 85, Middletown, died Tuesday October 6, 2015 at her home. She was the wife of the late James Robert Leasure.

Born in Apponaug, RI on April 4, 1930 she was a daughter of the late Elmer L. and Ellen A. Butterworth Blanchard.
She was employed as a legal secretary for several years and was as member of Holy Family Catholic Community Church, Middletown.

She is survived by:
2 sons, James P. Leasure and wife Sandra - Poolesville and John S. Leasure and wife Adrienne of Middletown

3 grandchildren, Jamie A. Leasure and wife Courtney of San Antonio, TX; Karry Rojas and husband Warren of Centreville, VA; Nicholas Leasure of Poolesville; Patrick J. Leasure and Jesse N. Leasure both of Middletown
4 great-grandchildren, Anthony Leasure, Lula Rojas, Inora Rojas and Lawson Leasure

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday October 12 at 11 AM from Holy Family Catholic Community Church, 7321 Burkittsville Rd., Middletown. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the Mass. Msgr. Robert Jaskot will officiate. Inurnment will be made in Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, Middletown. There will be a luncheon served at the church after the committal service at the cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Community Church.
