Mr. George Junior Karn, 87, Burkittsville died Friday January 16 at Vindobona Nursing Home in Braddock Heights. Born in Burkittsville, January 9, 1928 he was a son of the late George C. and Fannie Norris Karn. He was employed for over 46 years as a carman with the B&O railroad in Brunswick until his retirement. He was a veteran of the US Navy; a life member of the Moose, Eagles, American Legion in Brunswick for over 60 yrs. He is survived by: 2 sisters - Mary Broyles - Burkittsville and Earlene Redman - Yarrowsburg 1 brother - Gerald Karn - Burkittsville He was predeceased by one sister - Alma Merryman and a brother Harry O. "Bubby" Karn; two brothers -in-law - John Redman and Thurman "Monk" Broyles any several nieces and nephews.
