rs. Helen Louise Kepler, 75, of Middletown, Md., died Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown.

She was the wife Daniel A. Kepler.

Born in Hagerstown on Nov. 1, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Clifford Joseph and Edith Susan Knable Householder.

She was employed as a CNA at Citizens Nursing Home in Frederick, Md., until her retirement.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Middletown for more than 50 years.

Surviving besides her husband are devoted friends, Brian and Brandy McDermott and Sue and Donnie McDermott, all of Middletown; and one brother and three sisters, Ned Householder of Williamsport, Mabel Reiff of Pinesburg, Elizabeth Johnson of Williamsport and Nellie Beitler of Williamsport.

She was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Hillard, Kenneth, Leonard, Newton, Arnold, Clarence, Paul, Bill, Barbara, Myrtle, Annie and Edith.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 17,  from 6 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Zion Lutheran Church, 107 W. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 18, at 11 a.m. at the church. The Rev. Marv Tollefson will officiate. Interment will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown.

Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 107 W. Main St., Middletown, MD 21769.

Sincere regrets are sent to Daniel, I worked with Helen for many years at CNH. A nicer person could not be found she was a great person to work with. I am sure you are going to miss her greatly. Just remember you

have a lot of memories to get you through.
May God keep you in this time of hardship.
