Kathy and family,So sorry to hear about Rick when I think of all the times in High school spending time on double dates and on the baseball field playing from little league up thru high school baseball.I will always remember the GroundHog over on third base and on the pitchers mound.Rick was truly a great friend and wonderful person to spend time with.I saw Rick about a month ago at the hospital before a test in Radiology and even though I knew he was sick we still talked about old times on the ball field.Love to all of you in this difficult time from the whole Marrone family. It was our pleasure to have had Rick as our friend.

To Rick's Family-- I was shocked when Gareth informed me that Rick has passed away over the weekend. I had worked with him while he was with Waltz and had many chats about how much he loved his family and his intense love of golf. He was a good man -- and fought a strong battle against all odds. My prayers are with you.

My Dearest Kathy, Words can in no way express my sorrow upon hearing of Rick's death. The past several times I had seen him in the hospital my hope was always that he would improve and get well. Nothing I say can by any means take away the hurt and sorrow you must feel. Just know that even though time and distance have separated us, you and Rick were in my thoughts often. Many of my fondest HS memories are from the good times we had on band trips and the friendship we shared. My love to you and your family. I am truly sorry for your loss.
