Mr. Stephen Scott Lantz, 51, Hedgesville, WV, died Sunday July 11, 2010 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville. He was the husband of Nancy Brown Lantz.
Born in Frederick, April 2, 1959 he was a son of Bill and Frances Neal Lantz of Middletown. He was employed as an elcetrician with Miller and Anderson. He loved music and in his early years played the drums with the Shamrock Majorette group in Frederick. He also loved animals.
Surviving, besides his wife and parents, are:
2 brothers - Larry Lantz and wife Marsha- Hagerstown and Rick Lantz and wife Susan - Littleton, CO
2 nieces - Kelley Marcus - Smithsburg and Sarah Gray - Greer, SC
great-nieces - Carly Marcus - Smithsburg; Lacy Addison - Greer, SC; and Summer Marcus - Smithsburg
Memorial services will be held 11 AM on Thursday July 15 at the Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown. Rev. Chris Frigm will officiate. Interment will be private.
