Mr. Richard L. "Dick" Hoffman Jr., 63, Hagerstown died Saturday July 3, 2010 at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown. He is survived by his long time companion Jeannette Daisy Snyder.
Born in Frederick, December 12, 1946 he was a son of the late Richard L. Sr. and Charlotte Summers Hoffman. Mr. Hoffman was a barber in Frederick for many years.
Surviving, besides his companion, are:
1 son - Richard Hoffman III - Walkersville
1 daughter - Cathy Lynn Hoffman - Frederick
2 brothers - Jerry W. Hoffman - Frederick and George Robert Hoffman and wife Donna - Emmitsburg
1 uncle - Donnie Hoffman and wife Lucy - Ranson, WV
special friends - Doris and Bill Baker - Hagerstown
He was predeceased by his sister Mary Arla King.
Memorial services will be held 11 AM on Friday July 16 at the Donald B. Thompson Funeral home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown. Rev. Lynell Thurman will officiate. Interment will ber private.
