Naomi Ruth Marshall, 97, of Brunswick, passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, surrounded by loved ones. A native of Freeland, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles Frederick and Susan Gaylor Becker. She was the last of her immediate family. As a teenager, she became a member of the Bethel Baptist Church of Freeland PA.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, William E. Marshall; her son William D. Marshall; granddaughters Angela Marshall Gipple and Cori Jo Banks Marshall; sisters Dorothy Zimmerman and Eleanor Phillips, and brothers Charles, Albert and Raymond Becker.
Surviving are her son, Dale and wife Melody; grandson Jason Marshall and wife Lea, all of Brunswick, MD; great-grandsons Andrew, Levi, Nikolas, of Brunswick and Shane Gipple of Ranson, WV. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who were always special to her. She is also remembered by special family members Sharon and Charles Spicknell, and Bill and Anne Lewis and daughter Danielle.
The family would like to thank Frederick County Hospice for their loving care and support, and the many special friends and neighbors who were so very kind during her illness. There will be no viewing, and interment will be private, according to her wishes.
