Evelyn Louise Kee, 82, Frederick, formerly of Middletown died Friday December 29 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
She was the wife of John Joseph "Jack" Kee. Born in Tillson, NY on March 31, 1935 she was a daughter of the late George Nelson and Mary Elizabeth Styles Krom.

She was an avid senior bowler at Terrace Lanes, made afghans for veterans and helmet liners and most recently crocheted Christmas ornaments . She also made birthday cards for residents of Community Living. She will also be missed by her cat Jasmine.

She is survived by six children, Larry Schaffert of Myersville, Gary Schaffert of Silver Spring, Bonnie Elliott of Reston, VA, Mary Beth Lowry of Boonsboro, John Kee of Reston, VA and Joe Kee of Rockville, ten grandchildren Angela , Allison, Lisa, Krista, Matthew , Jesse Schaffert, Rachel Lowry Sullivan and Ellie Lowry, Mia and Zoe Kee and two great-grandchildren Faith Stevens and Marilyn Tomalewski. She was predeceased by her son Mark Schaffert and a brother George Krom and a sister Shirley Morris.
  
The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 2 from 6 to 8 PM at the Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be held 11 AM on Wednesday January 3 from the funeral home. Rev. Jean E. Brown, chaplain of Edenton Retirement Center will officiate. Interment will be made in Zion Lutheran cemetery, Middletown.
  
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Community Living Inc, 620 Research Ct., Frederick, MD 21703
