In warm regards and with my deepest sympathy that I wish to express what Kate meant to me. She was a volunteer inside a Women's Prison where I was incarcerated at the time. In perfect beauty she opened herself up to me, without any hesitation. She and I collaborated on some art projects and talked for hours as we drew. Her compassion and pure talent will remain with me for the rest of my life. Kate was special and beautiful and so very talented. I will miss her.

Serving on Kairos weekends with Kate was such a joyful gift! She brought a love of service and caring to everything she did. I appreciated her perspective and wry sense of humor. Those of us who were fortunate to spend time with her were blessed by her presence and joy of serving. I'm so sorry for the loss of her presence here on earth and pray you know what a precious human being she was to grace our lives. In Christ's love, Nancy Stockbridge, a KAIROS sister

Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time of grief and sorrow. I served with Kate on a Kairos prison ministry weekend, and it was such a privilege to get to know her. She was funny, full of life and dedicated to making a positive difference in this world. Though her disease overwhelmed her, I will remember her as a warm and and kind woman who loved Jesus and her Kairos sisters. May the peace of God carry you through this difficult time, and may the love of family and friends comfort you.
