Mr. Bertram Lloyd Edmonston Jr., 90, Ocean City, died Wednesday September 18 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Virginia Z. Edmonston.

Born in Baltimore on October 21, 1922 he was a son of the late Bertram Lloyd Sr. and Margaret Eleanor Peacock Edmonston.  He was employed as a salesman with General Foods until his retirement and was a US Navy veteran of WW II. He was a 50 year member of Pickering Lodge AF & AM in Baltimore; member of the Elks Lodge in Ocean City and was an avid fisherman.

Surviving, beside his wife, are:

1 daughter - Nancy Louise Ranks - FL

1 son - Bertram Lloyd Edmonston III and wife Virginia R. - Thurmont

1 step-daughter - Susan Warner - Abingdon

3 grandchildren - Jennifer Clingerman and husband Richard - Thurmont; Bertram Lloyd Edmonston IV and wife Jennifer - Middletown; AJ Edmonston and wife Lauren - Thurmont

6 great-grandchildren - Reid Clingerman, Colton Clingerman, Asher Clingerman, Bertram Lloyd Edmonston V, Callan Edmonston, Claire Edmonston

1 sister - Eleanor Paris - Frederick

Memorial services and interment will be private.

We are sad at the loss of your Dad. My Father passed in 1984 and I still miss and wish I could see him. We will see them all again at the Rapture. I know you feel the same. May the Lord give you rest. Your Gideon Brothers and Sisters are in Prayer for you and family.
